Hobo's Hideout Bed, Breakfast and Barn at Mountain Shadows Tennessee Walking Horse Farm in beautiful Mancos, Colorado is your best bet for a quiet retreat from city life. It's a safe place to overnight when traveling with large animals, and a destination spot for trail riders who prefer the creature comforts camping does not offer.
The Four Corners region is perfect for folks who love the great outdoors - with fishing, hunting, riding, hiking, biking, skiing, boating, wine tasting, homebrew sampling, shopping and sightseeing in abundance; there is never a dull moment. We even have an active mush dog community and dude ranches for those who cannot bring their own animals and prefer guided rides. A local outfitter will also provide you with horses, tack and trailer for exploring the trails on your own, using us as an overnight facility.
Located off Highway 184 between Mancos (7miles) and Dolores (11 miles), take Road 38 Eastbound. Follow Road 38 1 and 1/4 miles to 12744. The barn will be on the left side of the road, the house is on the right. Please call before arrival.
Hobo's Hideout is open year round, and, as always:
"ANIMALS ARE WELCOME TO BRING THEIR PEOPLE!"
Please call for rates, reservations, and further details.
